Australian actor Craig McLachlan is gearing up for a comeback, announcing that he has signed with celebrity manager Max Markson, according to The New Daily.
“Thrilled to announce that I’ve signed up with the incredible Max Markson – it was time, looking forward to some exciting ventures ahead,” McLachlan wrote in a post he shared on his official Instagram page. “Your support and encouragement have been everything.”
McLachlan joins a talented team at Markson’s agency called Markson Sparks, which touts a high-profile list of international clients such as broadcaster Alan Jones, former US president Bill Clinton, British Olympic legend Sebastian Coe and model Lara Bingle (now known as Worthington).
McLachlan is known for his work in in TV shows such as Home and Away and Neighbours and has won a Gold Logie as Australia’s most popular TV personality in 1990. Additionally, he has released three studio albums.
McLachlan has battled claims of sexual assault and been engaged in legal battles, including a defamation action against ABC, former newspaper publisher Fairfax Media and former co-star Christie Whelan Browne.
