Australian media personality Abbie Chatfield has confirmed that she is in a new relationship and talked about her new man during an episode of her ‘It’s A Lot’ podcast, but did not officially share the name of her new man.
While Chatfield, 28, did not name him, she certainly fueled the online rumors that are connecting her to Adam Hyde, who is one half of the popular Aussie DJ duo Peking Duk.
The producer of her podcast said that Chatfield had already “soft launched” Hyde by posting a video showing them dancing at the Grand Prix with the caption “Fun Grand Prix x FRIENDS”, but Chatfield was coy with her response.
“No, we’re not … The caption said ‘friends’ in capital letters,” Chatfield said (h/t 7News). She then said “I literally feel like music sounds better with him” before going on to explain how “healthy” her new relationship was.
“It’s actually the most important thing that’s happened to me, dating-wise,” Chatfield said emotionally. “I cry every day because of how happy I am.
“He’s just been the kindest, most supportive person.
“It’s like he’s opened up a whole new world that I can see, that, like, things aren’t always going to end badly, and not just romantically.”
“I’d really given up on finding someone I like being around this much that also treated me well,” she continued. “He’s so emotionally intelligent.”
